Look at getting an HP for the same money. Or for lb588 you would find a very suitable spec pc built up from a small computer shop. This will also contribute you the option of have XP pro as most machines now come beside vista as standard. Don't worry going on for vista. One of the guys at work just bought a lb399 compaq laptop from laptop world with vista and say its ok. One of my mates have just upgraded to vista and just problem he had be getting his netwrok printer to work. His other machine be running xp and all he have to do was nouns the vista driver on the xp machine and it worked fine.
Hi for one approaching the Dimension E520 Its has loads of RAM (randon access memory), extraordinarily good graphics card and a huge harddrive, etc. More afterwards enough for adjectives the music, most games, etc and the price its much better :)
