Why does a 64 bit text of 3DS max 9 have highly developed requitements specifically RAM 4g recomended??

i dun read between the lines why 64 bit version of 3ds max 9 requirements more ram at the autodesk site it say for 64 bit ver tat 4 gb ram iz recomended... while the 32 bit ver solitary has a requite ment of 1 to 2 gbs of ramm. i am concerned abt this as i can shifting to 64 bit core 2 duo e6600 processor...and i wanna know y 64 bit wants more ram.. IS IT more bump hungry?? if so then its smaller quantity effecient then the 32 bit versi

A single Windows 32 bit app. can solitary access 2 GB of availble memory. The max RAM a 32 bit proc. can directly address is 4GB, unless you use PAE extensions.
