sometimes, when I am working next to my PC, the curser jumps bad the screen! Mouse is not out-of-date, other mouse did it too.
why does laptop mouce drop?
I'm guessing its an optical mouse? If so, try a new mouse wipe. I had one mouse, tried another, and they both did that. Got the alien pad and the antediluvian one (pad) looked a tad shiny from wear. If its the old style mouse beside the ball, purloin it apart and clean it.
