why does newer p4 own bios 03 and ripened modle have10?

Every motherboard has a different Bios built specifically for that board. So, the 02 and 10 are really not comparable. It's resembling having a copy of Adobe Photoshop 2.0 versus Adobe Illustrator 1.0. They do similar things but they a short time ago aren't the same program, so one is not the upgrade of the other.

There may be a bios update out for your current motherboard, but upgrading the bios is usually one of those things you should do solitary if something isn't working properly, and the notes on the exotic BIOS build says that it will fix the problem. If you mess up the installation of the fresh BIOS your computer could become one big paperweight.
go to the dell network site and onto the support section.

enter your service flap number (on PC case)

look up firmware/Bios upgrades. You will find the latest for your PC. Asking this stuff on RunQA will grasp you no-where.

Top Tip:- Unless you are experiencing a specific problem do not bother upgrading your BIOS. Your not going to fix anything unless you have something to fix.
