Why do usb ports founder?

I've never have on fail on me. Try reinstalling them click start, right click my computer, properties, hardware, device bureaucrat, right click on usb port, uninstall restart computer, they'll reinstall upon restart.
Poor upbringing.
if ALL your usb ports stopped working, it may be because your motherboard's southbridge is toast. my parents had this issue after a usb mouse died and sent some wrong quirk to the MB.



if i were you i'd own a tech check this matter.
