Why is a AMD Athlon 64x2 4200+ cheaper than a 64x2 3800+?

Whats the big difference and which would be the better buy?

Why is a AMD Athlon 64x2 4200+ cheaper than a 64x2 3800+?

it could be the steppings on the 3800 are really angelic and the 4200 steppings are really bad, (steppings tell about the chip , ex, how correct it overclocks and stuff)
Because one of them is the Best processor
It isn't. Show us a link to the prices.
Hi. Curious. They can both be obtain at about duplicate price as seen here : http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__amd_athlo... here : http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__amd_athlo...

One might use a cheaper technology or enjoy a better yield, but a moment ago a guess. One may be easier to unlock also. Guys and gals like us LOVE that contained by a chip!
Buy an Amd 64 x2 4400+. Better than those two listed, plus it's cheap.
