i not long got a dvd player for my G4 Apple Mac and everything seem to be connected properly but for some reason it wont play DVD'S but it does certificate them. Help plz.

You need an application to play your DVDs. If you don't own Apple's DVD player, try VLC player.
did u install the dvd codec?
Maybe you don't have a DVD player.
Because you bought a mac.
