Which processor to buy pentium d915 or similar dual core not gamer merely unsophisticated network browser?
recover yourself a lot of money. if adjectives your going to do is web browsing, department work, movies etc then a essential solo core processor is sufficient.
check out the AMD sempron 3500+ 1.8Ghz Processors
or Intel Celeron M 1.7Ghz Processors.
you can even get the Intel Pentium M centrino processors for moderately cheap these days.
if i have to choose i would choose the AMD over the Celeron. However the Intel centrino would probably be faster than the AMD.
Old Silicon Valley Proverb say, Athlon faster, so
Pentium better. Work fine.
d915 is a great chip for an insuperable price, it'll work great for you.
you can go contained by for the regular pentium
I just switched from a Celeron 3.2 ghz to a Pentium D 915 2.8 ghz and it is a great chip and I'm contented with the redeploy. ALthough I will say the Celeron be just as promptly or faster for surfing the net and menial tasks close to that but when you have to so some serious work ot multitasking the pentium d is much faster.
im running a pentium d 915,and its a great reliable cpu,but if your a moment ago browsing and expect no mass files or programs to be ran dance with a p4 ht 2.0 to 2.8 its cheaper and you cant speak about the differenceas long as your just net surfing.
I that case doesnt really issue as long as its not a Celeron and not a Sempron
here's a buying guide for them from ebays reviews & guides.
